Hey.

My name is Taegan. Welcome to One Word.

Sometimes unexpected, always personal, One Word is a memoir documentary series where I choose a word and explore its meaning in my life and the world around me.

One Word, Three Rules

When I’m working on a word, I always keep three rules in mind. They are:

1. Each word must try something new.

2. Each word must make me cry.

3. Each word must change something in my life.

Simple Premise, Unique Approach

For a living, I craft content strategies for start ups and corporations, and that’s the last thing I want to do on my spare time.

So I’ve made a few deliberate choices with this project.

My work on One Word eschews the grind and the hustle of modern content. I do not promise to send something weekly or monthly. I release my films when they’re ready, because I believe quality experiences take time. And I also refuse to think up click-baity titles. Every project begins with a word, and the meaning in the word drives everything that follows.
